Car accident lawyer
Representing drivers and passengers hurt by careless and reckless drivers across Los Angeles.
An injury is about more than a doctor’s visit. It’s your time, your car, your paycheck and your peace of mind.
Red-light runners, T-bones and rear-end collisions can leave you dealing with injuries, a damaged car and an insurance company that wants a quick, cheap answer. Scott Adrian takes over those calls, makes sure you get the medical care you need, and negotiates for the full value of your claim. When a fair settlement isn’t offered, he is ready for trial.
Recent results include $850,000 in an auto vs. auto case in the Los Angeles area.
Car crashes we handle
- Red-light and stop-sign crashes. T-bone collisions caused by drivers who don’t stop or yield.
- Rear-end collisions. Drivers who follow too closely for the speed and the road (Vehicle Code § 21703).
- Unsafe lane changes and merges. Drivers who move over without checking or signaling (Vehicle Code §§ 21658, 22107).
- Distracted driving. Drivers using a phone without a hands-free setup (Vehicle Code § 23123).
- Multi-car and hit-and-run crashes. If the driver fled or had no insurance, the uninsured motorist coverage on your own auto policy may pay for your injuries.
What we do for you
- Handle the insurance companies. You don’t owe the other driver’s insurer a recorded statement. We do the talking.
- Gather the evidence. Police report, photos, witness information and the facts of how the crash happened.
- Get you treated. We make sure you are taken care of medically on your road to recovery.
- Negotiate, or go to trial. We push for a fair settlement and prepare every case as if it will be tried.
Compensation we pursue
- Pain & suffering
- Lost wages
- Past & future medical costs
- Lost or damaged property
- Other special damages

If you or a loved one needs the best personal injury attorney, this is your guy! Sometimes accidents happen and we have a lot to recover for — but it shouldn't cost you everything including your time. Dealing with insurance and everyone involved comes with a lot of confusion and headache.
With Scott — YOU ARE IN GOOD HANDS!
I have nothing but high praises for Scott Adrian. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, efficient, quality and PROFESSIONAL! What a relief it is to have someone who listens and understands all your concerns. I couldn't recommend him more.
Got into an accident about June 2024. Someone blew a red light and t-boned another car that then hit me. Immediately called Scott and he got to work. Went through all the treatment and fast forward to June 2025 I received my settlement. After going back and forth with insurance Scott was able to negotiate a fair settlement amount that I am very pleased with. Amazing work. Highly recommended!
Questions about car accidents
Should I talk to the other driver’s insurance company?
You have no legal or contractual obligation to give the other driver’s insurer a recorded statement in California. Adjusters often call within 24–48 hours, before injuries like whiplash fully show. Tell them you’re happy to cooperate through your lawyer.
What should I do at the scene of a car accident?
Get to a safe location, call the police to make a report, gather driver and witness information, take pictures of everything (scene, cars, damage, injuries, people), contact your lawyer, and don’t admit fault or sign anything except for the police.
What if I was partly at fault?
California follows pure comparative negligence, so you can still recover, reduced by your share of fault. For example, someone found 60% at fault for $100,000 in damages can still recover $40,000.
What compensation can I recover after a car accident?
Depending on your case: pain and suffering, lost wages, past and future medical costs, lost or damaged property, and other special damages.
How long do I have to file a car accident claim?
In most California personal injury cases, a lawsuit must be filed within two years of the injury (Code of Civil Procedure § 335.1). If a city, county or state vehicle was involved, a written claim usually has to be filed with that agency within six months (Government Code § 911.2). Deadlines can differ, so it's best to call early. Your consultation is free.
